The conference
“Frontier Probability Days 2007” (FPD’07)
is devised
as a two-day regional multi-school workshop focused on probability and
applied probability. It will take place in Colorado
Springs, CO on May 21-22, 2007. Its
purpose is to bring
researchers from the
Rocky Mountains states as well as from around the world,
working
in the area of probability and applied probability together, with the
specific goals of
- meeting each other and promoting their own
research;
- fostering new collaborations;
- allowing graduate students from regional
schools an
opportunity to meet leaders in the field, junior faculty active in
research, and their peers;
- establishing a forum to explore new directions
in
theoretical and applied probability and several allied areas of
investigation.
If you would like to participate and/or speak at the conference, please
contact
the organizers before April 30, 2007.
Local expenses for speakers may be
